UPSC एग्जाम को एक ही अटैम्पट में क्लियर करने के ये हैं कुछ जरूरी टिप्स

The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2021 and IFS (Indian Forest Service) 2021 exam were postponed in view of the fatal outcome of the second wave of coronavirus. These exams were earlier scheduled to be held on 27th June but now the new schedule has been issued and these exams will be conducted on 10th October 2021.

However, as the exam dates are now approaching, aspirants are working day and night to crack even the toughest exam to become a public administrator and turn their dreams into reality. Significantly, the Civil Services Examination is considered to be the toughest examination in the country. There are three basic stages of UPSC Civil Services Examination. The first stage is prelims which is objective in nature, second stage is mains which is a written test and third stage is interview which is a verbal evaluation process. After this the final result is declared. So, today we are telling you some tips to clear UPSC Pre Exam in a single attempt.

cover complete syllabus

Syllabus should be covered well. No part should be taken lightly, whatever the past trends. Actually the syllabus of UPSC is much bigger and bigger. Anything can be asked from anywhere so cover the entire syllabus thoroughly. A lot of questions were asked from Ancient India in UPSC Prelims 2020.

practice mock test

After covering a large part of the syllabus, practice mock tests vigorously. However, keep the number of practicing mock tests limited. Practicing too much will drain your energy and solving too few tests will leave you lacking in preparation. Analysis is an essential practice after the test. Don’t get overconfident with good performance and don’t get discouraged by poor performance. Just keep trying to do better.

do proper revision

The syllabus of prelims is huge and scattered. Revision is more important than coverage. So there should be a right balance between the coverage of syllabus and revision of the covered portion. Scan the syllabus thoroughly and give priority. Revise the part of the syllabus which is data and fact oriented, several times before the actual exam.

make proper notes

No UPSC syllabus can be covered with quality without making proper notes. Notes should be made in a proper format so that it is very easy for the candidates to memorize and revise them. Notes should not be too difficult and hence the purpose of making notes should always be kept in mind.

Do not explore new topics a month before the exam

The last month before prelims is very important. So if it is not very important then do not cover any new topic in this last month. Actually, one month before the exam should be kept especially for revision.

CSAT pay special attention to

Taking it lightly can cost a lot. Those who are completely newbies to CSAT should keep it at par with General Studies. Advanced stage candidates should also take it seriously. At least the previous years papers should not be missed.

Practice from previous years papers

Previous year question papers provide direction and condition to your preparation. Apart from increasing your knowledge base, last year question papers also help in building your mental outlook. It enhances your common sense and helps you eliminate options.

Pay maximum attention to current affairs

Current affairs also have a very important role in this exam, so special attention should be given to it. Standard Newspapers, Monthly Magazines, Indian Year Book, Economic Survey, Budget PIB and Yojana should be on your current affairs platters. Exclusive current affairs is a good idea but too much dependency on it can be a useless practice.
